Points by Boxing Day

Right, if my research is correct after Boxing Day last year we were in 9th and our record was

P 20 GD +6 Pts 27

Right now we are on 15 after 9 so on course to at least match this. So what do we think we will have this year. Personally I’m pretty optimistic that we will be in a far better situation. Here’s my predictions (points only!).

Manure 1pt
Brighton 3pts
Chelsea nilpwoints
Cardiff 3pts
rs 1pt
Newcastle 3pts
Watford 3pts
Citeh 0 pts
Tot spurs 0 pts
Burnley 1 pt

That would put us on 30pts so considering some of the silly ones we dropped early in the season, I’d say not too bad. Home form will be crucial but I still can’t see us upsetting teams on our away games. Hopefully I’m wrong!

Where do you think we will be?

Hahaha we 100% did not have a +6 goal difference by Christmas last season.

What's the point in this? Why pick boxing day as a cut off? Why compare with last year at that point? After boxing day last year we drew with bottom club West brom, lost to Bournemouth, lost United, got thumped by spurs, drew again at home to bottom side West brom, got turfed out the 3rd round of the FA Cup, and went over 3 games without having a shot on target.

We will quite possibly be in a similar position to last come Christmas, but be in a far better position than last year come the end of January.

Take it a game at a time. See what happens. Permutations never turn out how I'd imagined them in my head anyway. We'll win some I don't expect and lose some I expect to win. That's where we are right now. Getting better of course but it won't be a flat line of improvement. There will be ups and downs. Enjoy the ride.

I don’t care to be honest, I am enjoying watching the blues again, so if we finish lower (not too much lower of course) or just the same, I have still got more pleasure from the team this season than for the past four. If we do do finish higher then happy days, but I am just loving the fact that watching us no longer makes a little bit of sick come up in my throat!

I plan on being back in 1985 on Boxing Day, I'm just struggling to get my 1.21 giggawatts from friends and family and I'm short of a Delorean which isn't helping matters.

1.21 giggawatts! One. point. twenty. one. Giggawatts!!

Great Scott!

Ps.. this thread is just a nightmare, however many points you think we are going to get divide by 2 or even 3 and you are probably closer to the answer.
