Right, if my research is correct after Boxing Day last year we were in 9th and our record was

P 20 GD +6 Pts 27

Right now we are on 15 after 9 so on course to at least match this. So what do we think we will have this year. Personally I’m pretty optimistic that we will be in a far better situation. Here’s my predictions (points only!).

That would put us on 30pts so considering some of the silly ones we dropped early in the season, I’d say not too bad. Home form will be crucial but I still can’t see us upsetting teams on our away games. Hopefully I’m wrong!

Christmas is always a key benchmark for me;

Less than 20 points is a real concern and possible relegation fight.

20-25 points and we should be fine.

25-30 points, think of EL qualification.

30 points or more is dreamland.

....as always let’s just see where we are at that stage.
