Baxter signed a 2 1/2 year deal in March, and it would surprise me if Goslings contract expiring now. Other than that, I agree with your picks, but would also include Kissock. He might still turn out good, like Osman did.

Irving might also be one to keep, but I haven't seen enough of him to have an opinion.

We should keep Jacobsen and Castillo, maybe even Nuno depending on his chances of a full recovery from his injuries (may be slim due to his age). Don't know much about the kids, surely Irving and Kissock need to be making proper challenges for first team places soon? They seem to have been around forever.

I would give Castillo another go myself. I think he looked pretty decent the last 2 or 3 games he's played!

Spot on about Shandy mate. When he signed for us, i was excited in a similar way to when we got Kanchelskis. Unfortunately injuries, himself and little first team action due to the latter two have led to such massive disappointments.

Maybe Valente as well, not sure on that. Jo is on loan so doesnt really count, but i think it would be interesting to get him back on loan again.
As for the youngsters, Baxter and Gosling are gimmes, assuming they havent actually signed already, and probably Wallace as well from what i've heard.
The other two i think should be given as long as possible as long as their wages are still reasonable. I think we should give them as long as possible to prove their worth before we release them and have to buy replacements/squad fillers/buy them back in three years time when they come good.
This comes with the caveat that I havent seen either play, just going on ppls reports on here.

Segundo Castillo won't be staying, he won't offer us anything and the price tag is far too expensive for a player of his quality.

I expect to see Valente, Van der Meyde, Castillo and Jo all gone in the summer. Maybe even Turner or Ruddy who both need first team football.

Castillo has done nothing to merit the 4M price tag but then again, other clubs won't (or shouldn't) be offering 4M since he hasn't done anything to showcase himself. The price could be negotiated downward which, in that case, could make him another go.
