I don't think MLS is a good place for Oviedo if we decide to let him go. It's still a pretty physical league, and with his injury history playing on artificial turf that often would not help things. Could see him doing well at a mid table side in La Liga, though.

A good move for Oviedo would be to Sociedad honestly, working with a manager who bought him before - mid table Spanish side, knows the language and such, if he does go - which I'd say is likely then wish him all the luck in the world as he seems a really good lad - just terribly unlucky that he got his chance and then had it wrecked with a truly horrendous injury

Out of contract next summer -

Hibbert - Release. He will retire.
Gibson - Too injured-prone and never get fit. Release.
Oviedo - Still relatively young and a versatile player. Will give him an extension probably.
Kone - Sign Austin on a Bosman as replacement. Release.
Osman - Will give him a one year extension as backup player.
Pienaar - Getting on and injured all the time. Release...and I think he will retire. We need Yarmolenko as replacement.

I am not arsed with Robles and McGeady. McGeady will leave soon and Robles is okay as a third choice keeper provding we get a new keeper next summer.
