Player who can turn a game

Not neccessarily, the legendary Hugo Sanchez, Guardado and Marquez off the top of my head all came from the Mexican League. Its just like anywhere else, if you look hard enough there are some very good players there. Generally its easier to spot strikers because obviously they'd be scoring for fun, but then there could be a world class full back or DM over there and you'd never know because they wouldn't stand out as much.

Proper scouting and a bit of a gamble can really pay off in those American Leagues

I've watched a fair bit of it and been to a few games. Trust me, its crap. Even the Mexicans would tell you that.

Sanchez, Marquez and Chicarito are the only three mexican players to play at the top level in Europe in over 50 years. Obivously that does prove that you can find quality there but it's a poor league in comparison to a lot of other markets.

Your likes of Guillermo Franco are much closer to the standard for the best players in that league.

Hector Moreno
Andres Guardado
Carlos Salcido
Maza Rodriguez
Ricardo Osorio
Pedroza (new signing for Spurs)
Ochoa (new signing)

These guys too off the top of my head. De Negris is the real deal and Everton should look at him.

ex- RS yossi Benniyoun.

he always struck me as someone who could change a game and un-lock defeneces. Reckon you would get him for around 4 million as well

I really would like to see Guardado here. Hard worker, and pace. Looks to be the real deal in every way Barrera didn't.

Not forgetting Borgetti, a striker i really rated. He went to Bolton during the twilight years of a career that saw him score lots and lots of goals, he was sensational in that 2002 World Cup.

Speaking of Mexicans, Giovanni Dos Santos has been rotting for years at spurs and is available. He had an amazing world cup last summer. I can't understand why he can't make it at WHL, he's got flair and pace and is really good out wide.

Tbf when people get on your back, things just keep getting worse and it snow balls. I actually think he's got great potential. Maybe not as a 20+ goal a season striker, but his touch and sometimes his vision when he's not ****ing up his great. He's only 23 remember! He needs out of Arsenal.

i thought originally your were joking...but you're not! Bendtner, the self proclaimed best striker in the world, is an absolute yard dog and it's only wenger's stubbornness and refusal to spend money that has kept him at arsenal all this time. Slow, turning circle wider than an oil tanker, is not good in the air despite being about 6'3" and couldn't hit a donkey's arse with a banjo. I shudder when I think of him in a blue shirt.

Definitely better than what we have though. Bendtner is actually a good striker, if given the starts, and he's still young.

Very good shout about Dos Santos too, always rated him, i think he could still do well in England, its just about being presented the opportunity.
