Player Valuation: £50k
Good Evening Everyone,

My name is John Duchak and I'm the Chairman of the DC Toffees here in the US. When Scott McLeod came over for a Premier League broadcast event back in September, he gave me a home kit signed by a number of players in this year's squad. I can make out a few signatures from receiving signed merchandise from the club in previous years, but some of these are quite perplexing...and I was wondering if I could enlist your assistance in identifying the players. Does anyone happen to know a good website with examples of player signatures? I'll be raffling off the signed kit for charity at our derby watch party, and I'd like to be able to list all of the players who've signed it, instead of simply saying it's been done by the whole squad. It doesn't help that they used a black marker on our home kit....

Cheers,

John

The one to the left is framed and has a special significance to me. When Everton toured the US in 2011, they held an open training session before their friendly against DC United. Even after training in the ridiculous heat and humidity, all the players came over to meet and talk with the fans. That's when I got that shirt signed and met the squad, minus Arteta who had injured his ankle a few days earlier against the Philadelphia Union. Since we're an official supporters club, Everton provide us with a piece of merchandise each year. I've used those items every year to raffle off for charity. This year was quite the surprise when Scott gave me the signed shirt, and also a personalized shirt from Seamus for our supporters club and the pub we meet at. Scott felt that, since we meet at an Irish pub, it only made sense for our Irish fullback and the Irish captain to have his shirt displayed in the pub.

Think you can make out quite a few - numbers help - and there are a couple of kits out there on ebay. Was supposed to make it down to Fado's a couple weeks ago, but plans changed right at the last minute. I'll get down there one of these days.
