Player send offs

I'm far from a Howard fan, but I thought it was bad form yesterday that there were a few players there yesterday praticularly Ossie and Hibbert who have likely played there last game for Everton.

Was wrong to focus on one player - I'll leave it there - as I'm not a fan of his.

Howard's officially left. Osman, Pienaar and Hibbert are still contracted till the end of the month. I dare say if they'd come out publicly and said they were leaving, then they'd have shared in Howard's post match farewell.

Be surprising if any of the 3 were offered another playing contract, particularly Pienaar & Hibbert....

Who knows maybe they were offered a send off and declined it....

It's been an eye opener for me how quickly people are to turn on players who have declined due to age. Pretty shocking.

Also wtf has wages got to do with anything, it's not their fault the job they do pays ridiculous amounts, like you would turn it down if you were lucky enough to be a player.

Always been the same. Unbelievably remember Ratcliffe Reid and Sheedy getting stick when age and injury caught up with them. Fans are fickle mate

Osman and Hibbert are in talks with the club about being offered a Finch Farm postion with the youth team and doing their badges.

They may not be going very far.

Honestly wouldn't mind that.

Osman's got quick feet and Hibbert's 1v1 defending was often good. You don't have to be the best player to be a coach, but they certainly have attributes that youngsters could learn from.
