and thats that(y)
We all see the game differently Dan, out of 90+ mins it is impossible to remember the whole match, so we all remember bits. you might remember some things other people different bits of the game.

So come on and give your opinion, but don't tell people they are wrong because you don't agree.

I'm happy to agree or otherwise - I don't think I am playing Devil's Advocate but.. there's more to it than that - it's about taking control of the game, putting the (critical) chances away, keeping control etc. Well Everton were in complete control of that game for all but the last 15 minutes - so that's job well done for me. 2-0 up in 20 minutes and in complete charge - I don't know how anyone could possibly dispute that the vast majority of the side had done their job well. So, if some of the side got a bit laboured towards the end I'll take that every time with a 2-0 lead (except perhaps against the likes of Man U/Chavs/Arse who will punish you). Sure it's just one person's opinion but I believe some of the criticisms meted out to some players is out of context and, in this particular game, somewhat unjustified.

Don't agree with the hoof ball is the best option argument. It is not and never will. Never ever should we resort to this as a primary approach, especially with the midfielders we have.

I attually thought Cahill was the best player on the pitch, Scored the first, set up the 2nd and did alot of work. Pienaar played well as well, did alot of tracking back, an some great passing. Gave Louis one of 2 chances which he wasted.
Heits made 1 mistake which nearly cost us an so did Distan. Both should have cost us goals. Luckly they didn't.

Everton were by far the better team an took the foot off the gas at 2-0an left it off. Sunderland were woeful. Once Vaughan comes on we seem to lose all attacking purpose.

Long an the short, we did what was needed an won.

The mistakes though, i feel, came because we were in "cruise control". We didn't expect them to even get near our box!

Thats the problem you have when you lose concentration or only play for 45!

It was good to see Distin ...

Having a better game. I thought his recent performances were awful. Hopefully something has jelled now for him and he'll continue to improve.

i am probably osman's biggest critic and doubter but he did well last night, he is playing far better than i've seen him play, possibly ever, if not definately for a couple of years!
