People requesting a poll, which I didn’t do earlier, not sure how to edit it on the other thread, so if anyone can move this onto the thread would be thankful. Not the best with this kind of stuff. #UTFT
 

Pickford by a mile. Without his (largely) superb goalkeeping this season, we'd have been down a long time ago!

I've been heavily critical of him in the past, but this season I've seen what a truly great keeper he is/can still become.
 
Pickford did very well, I have to say.

But if we need cash and he had to be sold Nick Pope is there to be had if they go down.

I've been getting stick for years over Pope, but he is the best PL GK out there IMO.
 

Gordon, Richy, Iwobi and even Holgate played huge parts in our survival.

But there is no contest. The only player who has performed from match week one onwards is Pickford. And boy has he performed.
 
Pickford is stand out.

Some of those performances have been nothing short of amazing.

The fact that Iwobi gets a mention is a true credit to the lad. Lampard done an amazing job to help him find his feet.
 
With the greatest of respect for Iwobi, his recent improvement has been exactly that: recent. Right up to Benitez getting sacked, Iwobi was poop. Lampard is getting a tune out of him and long may it continue, but you can't be player of the season when you were rubbish for at least half of the season.

Pickford or Richarlison for me. I'd be happy either way but with all the stick Pickford has taken in previous seasons (all very deserved, btw) it's great to see him stand up and lead by example from day 1. I vote for JP even though I suspect he and Finn Shelby (Peaky Blinders) are the same person.

Thing is Pope will be a hot ticket, he would be possibly too expensive to justify selling one too buy another
 
Pickford for me. Richarlison and Iwobi have been brilliant recently but not consistently excellent throughout the whole season. Gordon will get young player of the year.

I'm not sure. I think Pickford has a massive profile and Pope doesn't.

We could probably sell Pickford and spend half of the fee on Pope.
 
Pickford has been outstanding and deserves it. However I'd still stick with Gordon for the title.

First full season, no excuses made for him, ever present and the best breakthrough homegrown since the freak of nature that was Rooney. Gordon for me 100%
