If it was going to be the Asian Federation that was going to host the 2022 World Cup, it should have been Australia, that would have been brilliant. And just a three-hour flight away for me ;) .

Docklands (Melbourne), Stadium Australia (Sydney), Adelaide Oval, Lang Park (Brisbane), and many more grounds with +25,000 capacity around the country have hosted high-profile rugby & football games easily enough before.

Australia would be a great choice though. China in all likelihood will be the next Asian federation nation to get it.
