never been in but I'm intrigued, as a straight guy who isnt arsed about what others do, how welcoming is it?
setting myself reet up here for some wags to set me up

Mrs CT used to go in with some of her uni mates back when I met her - it was somewhere they could go for a drink and dance without getting pestered by creeps. She ended up friends with a few of the regulars in there so we used to always nip in for a drink and to say hello when I was with her. Nice place from what I remember.

Getting chatted up when she went to the toilet or I was waiting at the bar was always an ego boost.

Stayed in Tewkesbury a few times for going to Cheltenham races. Nice Cotswold market town that is full of nutters wanting to fight everyone. Small town mentality at its finest

TBF that's a pretty gruelling tour schedule. I wonder if they'll make it to the end still speaking to each other?

Wolverton (it's near Milton Keynes on the Grand Union canal). Visited on a canal holiday and found it had no redeeming qualities whatsoever - dump.

It’s a funny place mind, there’s a rows and rows of Victorian terrace houses there that remind me of Liverpool. Think they were all build for the Rail workers, seems really out of place as before MK was built (expanded) it would have been in the middle of nowhere.
