PL place target for the rest of the season

Where do we need to finish for the season now to be acceptable?

...yep, that was widely reported in the morning press. I’m not sure he’s been starting many games of late due to tiredness but it has to be a bonus that he’s not available.

I've heard this too, if true he needs to have a word with himself, has he no shame?

Definitely think 7th is up for grabs but looking at a fight with Burnley and Liecester, with (maybe) depending on January business a chance to see 6th if Totts form continues and Arsenals inconsistency leaning towards their poorer play rather than good.

Will say the recent run has been great, but several penalties and penalty misses with timely follow ups. Not to mention the competition has been towards lower half of the table.

I think the match against Chelsea is huge, really measure us as to where we truly stand.

Going to get battered 0-3 predicts Merson.

...we’ve got a really tough run of fixtures coming up through to West Brom at Home towards the end of January. It’s a really good job we’ve got a reasonable total on the board for this point in the season. We might see a dip but at least we’ll have players coming back from injury and an acquisition or two to give us a boost. 4 wins should see us safe, the sooner we get them the better.

It certainly depends on business in January, but although Burnley doesn't worry me, the LCFC roster and squad is still pretty good.

West Brom and Bournemouth after Chelsea.

I'm hoping for 7 pts...

If we can get that going into the following 3 then we will be full of confidence...and you never know.

..you’re more positive than me, Zat. A point from any away game is good for me. The Baggies were a threat when they had a go at United and teams do better against Bournemouth when they press their back four. We’re not playing well despite the results.

Have to be confident...the players are on a great run and have no doubt had some luck.

I think if we can take something today we'll be on a huge wave of confidence and will beat the next two sides.

I have no "target".

Just win as many matches as we can and see where we finish ;)

A win later today will see us seven points off've fourth place.

To be in the position we are despite the shambles of a season so far is ridiculous. I think we will finish somewhere between 7th-10th and hopefully we can start afresh next season and reshape the team properly.
