maybe we should just binge on a good healthy dose of reality.

this is quite hard to do when the chairman mentions moutinho on ssn and says 'watch this space' after we have been waiting 90 days for transfers.
the os has players talking up moutinho also.
then you have the manager and chairman saying that players are going nowhere . but the player is then sold
what about the os , manager and chairman saying the manger is close to signing a contract , and then the manager still doesnt sign after 2 weeks.
or what about a club who's says kirkby is our 'only' option , well that options gone , so where does that leave us ?
or what about a club where the ceo walks out , but then says nothing about the resons why he left ?

the club are a let down , a joke , how can the fans have any sense of reality when the club isnt giving itself the best chance of success and contradicts itself all the time ?

Can we afford to be picky at the moment(y)

Indeed we can, we've got Shandy Van der Meyde.

In all honestly, I'm [Poor language removed] gutted, I just hope we can get atleast one new player this week, that will raise the spirits. We've had a terrible summer, one of the worst in a long time.

every site is reporting different things about his injury, i've heard metatarsel and toe were broken from different sources

too me it sounds like all this may be generated out of a couple rumours, when could he have broken it? we all saw he took a knock, limped off to the sideline of his own power, and came back on and played on for a bit before being subbed. it looked like he may have hurt somehting but i doubt its a broken metatarsel

*note the above is complete wishful thinking and honestly i don't even remember how it actually happened but i'm pretty sure it went something like that*
