Just seen StrictGentlemen's tweet then saying Exclusive Interview put off till next week. The squad fly out next week for the Java cup. Hurry up and get this sorted Everton.

Selling to buy is embarrassing? Since when? I want Kenwright out but that statement is ridiculous. All but City, Chelsea and maybe United pretty much have to sell to buy, its what happens and its fair enough. However, selling to loan or selling to cover the clubs cost is embarrassing, not selling to buy. My word.

Me too, all i was pointing out the other day was that even though the papers were talking about progress there had been none and everyone got excited about a possible Wednesday signing.

I can't be bothered with silly comments just saying its still the case that no movement will take place until early next week

(y) thanks for the heads up pal

puts all the other threads about signing players into persepctive if we cant afford to sign out number 1 target until we sell a player for 2/3 million says it all

THT pretty much saying this will happen as soon as Yobo is sold now. Problem is selling Yobo.

Which is exactly what Greg O'Keefe is now saying in the Echo - http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/ever...-depends-on-joseph-yobo-sale-100252-31434264/ . But how come it's taken up to now for the media and the ITKs to pick up on the fact that we have to sell to buy ? I'd have thought it's a pretty obvious question to ask - where the funds were going to come from to secure Pienaar, especially given the denials that there was any substance in the Baines rumours. To all those who've been telling us or rehashing rumours that Pienaar was a "done deal" or "certain to happen", what happened to this very relevant detail that we don't have the funds to buy him until we sell players ?

So by all accounts he's of to USA with Spurs on tour. That's gay.

Now a serious question.

Why hasn't he put in a transfer request if he's that desperate to rejoin us?

Such a sad state of affairs when a club like ours is scrabbling around for 3 mill to spend on a player.

Even Wigan can go out and spend that on a player. Bet a lot of championship clubs can too.

Good lord we are poor.

I've heard people saying that Pienaar has been left out of the offical 12/13 team photo at tottenham. Think its great the way the club can spend money redecorating the 1878 suite then struggle to find such a low amount of money for a class player who could easily be valued at around 9-10 million. Everton need to sort their priorities soon.
