Pienaar

I'm usually not one for these "If not Moyes then who" ultimatums...but.

Find me a creative midfielder who is a dead cert make us play like a baws either centrally or out wide for less than £5 million queen heads...I think you will falter.

30 or not, he runs around like an 8 year old on smack, we'll get at least three years of top level service out of him.

I was originally dead against Pienaar coming back 'cause of how sh*t he was for us & Spurs since the start of the World Cup but he's proved me wrong with this last loan spell, liking it.

I swear people who say 'he's old lad' don't actually watch him play. And even if his stamina was to go, his skills and mind will be with him for years and years.

Nails on heads-amongus

He'l play till he's at least 36, he's that good and has that much energy and skill

Hi

reckon this post might cause a few divides but....

Rumour has it the pienaar deal is almost complete for a fee off around 5mill.

Now as much i love peanuts is this the right move for Everton?

It grieves me to see us sell him for 3mill then have to pay 2 mill more 1 yr later, did spurs improve him as a player? Did he become younger in that year? No to both infact he hardly kicked the ball for spurs.

I just think that that may have been a few better and younger options for that fee especially for a club like us with no money this is a big transfer and i would presume that it will take most if not all of moyes budget.

I will welcome him with open arms because you know what you get with him, plus he wont need time to get used to his surroundings etc. But i would of like to off seen more options for that 5mill

Opinions?

He was sold for a knock down price because of his contract situation, 3 million wasn't his true value. A good season in the Championship can get a player a 5 million price tag, it's nothing really.

Would've preferred to have paid about 4 but an extra million for a player who we know will provide most of our attacking plays and fixes a left side problem we've had for years is a good move. Just hope we keep Baines as they have a great understanding.

Steven Pienaar is proper boss. Like a truly brilliant player.

No matter his age we won't get a player better or more essential to our team for that kind of money.

Sign him up.

I do think the £5million is too much considering he played 5 times for Tottenham but as soon as we loaned him and he started performing brilliantly I think we all knew Tottenham was going to increase the asking price. Also Levy loves making a profit on players.

However I will love seeing him playing for us again permanently and not too bothered about the £5 million because is the type of player we need and he showed last season why we need him and how important he is. I do think his move to Tottenham was a mistake by both Pienaar and Everton.

Just me who thinks we need to add to teh squad of last season and not just retain it? At th emoment we're two players down and thats with Pienaar on a full. Not that excited as we all knew he was coming back and he's not exactly new or anything.
