Lol at these ITK peeps.

"My next door neighbours' milkmans' son-in-law went to a scrabble night in an area not too far from Tottenham and he says Pienaar doesn't actually exist, he's actually a Tyler Durden-esque image of what we all want to be...a small, braided black man."
I only mentioned what i was told and nothing has happened yet.
I hope he does come back only time will tell

PIENAAR APPEARS IN COURT

Bafana Bafana captain Steven Pienaar has distanced himself from allegations of assaulting Thabang Mnisi, son of a government official, during a drunken brawl at an upmarket
nightclub in Johannesburg last month.

"I did not assault the complainant. I admit I was present at the club that night but I did not assault anyone," Pienaar said through his lawyer, Cliff Alexander, outside the Randburg Magistrate's Court yesterday.

Sowetan understands that Mnisi, who is the son of Deputy Minister of Public Service and Administration Ayanda Dlodlo, failed to attend a scheduled identity parade at the Sandton police station on Tuesday. He was also absent from court yesterday.

Pienaar turned himself in to the Sandton police station on June 18 following allegations by Mnisi that Pienaar assaulted him in the VIP section of Icon, a luxury nightclub on Friedman Drive in Sandton.

Mnisi claimed that Pienaar and his friends, who had been enjoying a boy's night out, kicked and punched him several times after a confrontation in the club's VIP section.

A relaxed-looking Pienaar arrived at court accompanied by
four unidentified friends. The men shared jokes and laughed out loud inside the court before the case was heard.
Prosecutor Samantha Manning asked the court to grant the state a postponement because investigations were incomplete. Manning also said that an identification parade still needed to be held.

Pienaar was released on warning and his case was postponed to September 6. Outside court Alexander, who looked confident that his client would be found not guilty, said video footage would clear the soccer star of the allegations levelled at him. "The complainant needs to be honest enough to say who actually assaulted him," said Alexander.

He said Pienaar, who jetted into the country for the court appearance, would be leaving for London
at the weekend. "We want this case to go on trial. The state needs to prove his guilt," he said. Alexaner said.

must be happening! Can't see Moyes going on record stating that he wants a player that badly, without him being fairly confident a deal will be done.
Has he ever done that before? Besides Landon perhaps.

Made my day

Am I the only Everton supporter NOT wanting to have Peinaar come back?

Peinaar has good skill and creativity, do get it twisted, but there are better players out there for less money and on the right side of 30.

...if we do sign him I might tear fap a bit just as a courtesy but I wont be arsed if he doesnt returned.

Name them.

Forget age, have you seen the lad, plays like a 22 year old, he carry on till he's 37

Yes there may be better players out there and younger, but, will they fit into Everton like Pienaar does. Probably not.

Pienaar has proved his worth twice over since his arrivall initially for the supposed £2.5m which we received alleged £3/4m for, those saying he isn't worth £6m need their eyes testing.

£6m buys you a quarter of a Henderson or a Downing.

not if they charge him with something else. a famous footballer was found not guilty even with video evidence. i think the police charged him with driving away without paying for his petrol or something completely contrary to what was on the video

Glad to see Moyes publicly state he's still trying for a deal. At £6m, I can't think of many other people I'd rather buy.

Just hope AVB plays ball.
