Absolute steal for the money. I hope we don't dawdle on this one. His particpation in Yaks third goal was unbelievable last week. He bring so much extra to this team especially just outside the opponents box.(y)

he's a class act, think of a midfield consisting cahill, arteta, pienaar and osman cost around £6m? i know osman came through the youth, you'd get far more now.

We'd be idiots not to buy him.

Valencia may be about to get knock out, but looks like Fernandes didn't take part in any of them, not because he is not good enough, rather than there new manager have something between them in the past, so he's not getting a game since it was the previous manager that want him there!

You don't have to take back on your word from the past, simply because the club the player went to is doing crap in CL, therefore it wasn't so bad we miss out on him, we saw him play for us and he was quality and we ought to feel disappointed we miss out!

i just meant that i was insulted by him, by choosing to go to another club, its as if he's saying he prefers that club, or that that club is better than us. sure he was quality for us, but call it football karma or whatever you want, he's not getting a game with a club that is doing poorly in europe. even if it is a dispute with the manager, i'm jus glad that he's probably regretting his decision now to leave us.

May be so, we are partly the blame for this to happen, if we have sorted this out before the season started, this might have never happen, and yes may be he wasn't firm enough to come to us no matter what!

But I still think Benfica are the one pressure him to go there instead to us, after all he was train up by them and some player feel they have to repay the club by getting as much money in as possible, and they might feel there could be chance to come back to us in the future?

Looks like another positive article on our Pienaar

But I am quite interested in this part of the article:-

Pienaar's spell in Holland saw him emerge as one of South Africa's brightest footballing talents. He slotted into a free-flowing attacking team alongside the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Andy van der Meyde, and gained valuable Champions League experience along the way.

I wonder if Pienaar could help VDM regain confidence and his games during his days with Ajax, that's certainly what we did hope for, we didn't paid alot for him and it's not too late to repaid us now, and we needed talent now more than ever!
