if anyone gets the chance look in on Sky Sports News, he has been interviewed regarding EFC.

He says that he is living the dream, as child he always wanted to play in the Prem its incredible. he then adds, and this is the bit I found to be brilliant, anyone would want to play for EFC, the warmth and friendliness of the players and staff, the amazing fans, he is in heaven and WANTS TO STAY AND FOR PLAY EFC.

You have just got to love the guy, again Mick you above all others called him right. On the down side he has the strangest deep voice you ever heard, coming from a small frame like that, great interview though(y)

I would marry him I reckon.

Glad he's saying the right [Poor language removed] though Monty, he impresses me more each time I see him. Amazing piece of business by Moyes.

Spot on mate, I was getting ready to go to the quacks but had to come on here and let you all know, he could do something with his hair though:lol:

Montys right I do really rate him. Ive seen him a few times when he was ay Ajax and he stood head and shoulders above anyone else in that side.

He has a tenacity that defies his size, hes not the quickest but manages to get in front of players. He has a great knack of not giving the ball away.

I think he fits into our team like pineapple on a pizza.

I also noticed the deep voice, I thought he'd have a cape-coloured type of accent. I'm sure we'll buy him, at the end of the season, hes done way better than I ever would have thought.

He often sounds a bit bemused by the stupid press queries in the UK (a bit like Wessels). "Did you enjoy it when you saw the ball go in the net?"

I like the character he shows and the way he is improving (for some reason, I get the impression he is very religious, which may have something to do with his work ethic).

Classic........  :D :D :P :P

I seen that sharpy but chose to ignore it.

Its spot on about him being tenacious though, he doesnt give in and gets stuck right in.

That showboating [Poor language removed] he does when were in front makes me moist.

Think iv said enough about this guy, Great little player always seems to have time on the ball, good passer, great with assists and as you say gets stuck right in.

for 2.5m the gaffer has a right little bargin again.

still would'nt buy him till the summer thou. Keep him hungry

Although I'm not as big a fan of him as many of you, I fully admit I was wrong with Pienar, he didnt impress me as the type of player we needed when he first joined but he's certainly improving all the time and he has the right attitute.

Not only that, if we get him for £2.5M then thats amazing business.

What Moyes said of Pienaar:

Moyes also had a special word to say about midfielder Steven Pienaar.

“Steven Pienaar is a terrific player not just because of his skills and his ability on the ball but also because of his honesty and his work-rate,” he said.

“People saw that against Fulham when we were 3-0 up and he was still working as hard. His second half performance was excellent but in the first half we were all a little bit flat.

Pienaar: "Yes."

Wessels: "No."

(nice Pineapple comment Mick. Had me laughing. )

I said another thread, that his play struck me as similar to Owen Hargreaves and he cost the manure umpteen millions. So could be a bargain buy problem is though with him playing his owning club may demand a lot more.
