I hope to god we have a fee in place for him.

I knew what he had in his locker from his Ajax days but certainly didn't expect his work rate!, what an engine he has!

Doesn't stop running, even in last few minutes hes all over the show.

pienaar is great. and osman has really come on this season with pienaar in the team.

it's nailed on that we will sign him in the summer. :)

Yeah he's everything VDM isn't.

Pienaar was absoultely fantasitc today, his passing was great his running, his defending and his skill aswell...I'd choose him over gonzalez or fernandes anyday (after todays performance)

Piennar is the real deal. His workrate is second to none. I love him and I hope he stays beyond the end of this season. I couldnt cope with losing him like we lost Manny.
I havent been able to listen to the match today but will watch Football First later.
Everton FC, my heroes, my passion for all my life.
Happy, happy, happy.(y)

I have a couple of signed, match worn shirts around the house - Stevie P is next on my list of pressies. Did I already say I loved him........?

No problem with the thread because if you hadn't started it, I would have.

One point in the game (beginning of 2nd half) and Lescott makes an overlapping run. Nothing comes of it but I'm watching Pienaar and sure enough he's hustling back to cover for Joleon.

Pienaar runs off to the right of my TV picture and then Joleon runs off to the right. Ball played back to West Ham player on that side of the pitch, midfield.

My first thought is, "Well, Lescott just ran back and Pienaar's at right back to cover so probably no one gonna be close to challenge this player." The camera moves just a bit more right and there's Pienaar squaring up to the player to deny him a passing lane and space.

I couldn't believe how fast he made the transition back to midfield to contest the player.

The guy runs EVERYWHERE (and not just wasted runs too as most all of his running has a purpose). I can't remember the last Everton player I saw with this work rate. I will admit that at one point during the match, I wondered why Cahill and Arteta didn't run like this but then I quickly remembered that every player is different.

It's a laydown that he gets signed and I'm sure that Pienaar will try to push it through. No doubt he doesn't want to back to Dortmund and will want to stay with Everton and play with a winning side.

I feel like he never kicked on this season and he's been abysmal for a good four months (maybe before that too but didn't take notice) do we have another player who's past it on our payroll? Discuss.
