I think the moyes contract thing may rest upon moyes' second five year plan!
I do believe that he wants cast iron assurances of enough funds to mount a challenge to the top 4 in the region of £25m a season at least, starting this summer.
I find it difficult to believe he would leave if this wasnt forthcoming, but he's not a man to tread water with no hope of progressing.
Dare i say it, without more money he may have; 'taken us as far as he can'
So I think he's playing a little hardball.
I also think that maybe he thinks the money he's asking for is 'do-able', otherwise he wouldnt be asking for it.
The bottom line is, I dont think moyes wants to leave, and I dont think anyone at the club does either.
And the best thing is, weve got a manager who will now be putting real pressure on the money men, and who wont accept top 6 as something to celebrate, and thats whats best for everyone including us!
