Pienaar to return?

No did not mention that but can't see us loaning out without getting Pienaar in return IMO

Getting a 60k of the wage bill will probaly be enough to seal the deal. Pienaar needn't be involved.

But Spurs need a striker more than a winger.

I love Pienarr and would have him back anytime but signing Jelavic which i'am happy about and loosing Saha just defeats the object of being short upfront in the first place, Saha has been ****e this season but he may just strike a bit of a partnership up with Jelavic , fingers crossed

Striking up a partnership would mean 4-4-2...

TBH I would rather see Vellios play along side Jelavic.

I don't get the Saha hate one iota.

Yes he's not scoring but he's not exactly missing much either. Our 'service' is about as reliable as the Royal Mail over Christmas.

Yes he's not AJ or Marcus Bent, chasing down lost causes, bounding around like a Red Setter with a hard-on. But he's also 47 or something and made of glass. He's said he's learnt to conserve his energy and his body so as to keep fit -- and he has indeed kept fit.

Last season he had the same problem -- he just wasn't scoring -- but that was when he was ALSO alongside Cahill. When he got a partner briefly in Beckford and a sustained run with the creative Osman behind him he did score.

Saha is getting way, way too much stick.
