Player Valuation: Free Transfer
Yes Fellani is getting the headlines at the moment but spare a thought for Pienaar: since he's come back, we've played our best football this season and he's in there with 2 assists in 3 games.
Last season he was top for assists and the way he plays consistently with passion and skill over 90 minutes, for me, he's fast becoming our most valuable player.
I don't care of he doesn't score buckets of goals....as long as he's the architect of good, attacking and winning football by the Blues!
And for 2m......?!
COYB!!

He was great the last 2 games (new Utd and Man Utd), but against Bolton he was terrible (apart from the assist to the goal)...£2 million - bargain...and if we dont get our act together this season he could be one to go.

He's a great little player.

I've never seen a player cover ground like Pienaar does. Even last season when we had the likes of AJ, Osman, Carsley etc in the same team it was Pienaar who was covering the most ground week in week out according to the fitness coach.

He's our Dirk Kuyt, with a bit of quality.:P

Tell you what...I'd far rather have him at 2m than Bentley at 16m!

what kind of argument is that?

anyway, I didn't see the game but his first touch failed him all night, as did his pass making abilities

he'll bounce back against FFC

The professional commentators said he was bad. And all i kept hearing was, a misplaced pass by Pienaar.

I can never trust the commentators to be honest.

I advise you to watch a game and have the radio on at the same time, it's never the same. I remember Yakubu having his first good game at Derby last season and Goodlass ripped him to pieces.

Same goes for Sharp in the Arsenal game with Fellaini. Fellaini played well, it was quite obvious and Sharp critisised him.

Never trust the radio.(y)

cracking little player i dont think he had the best first half but to be honnest i didnt see the second but for 2 mill hes a steal

I have to admit as I have watch the match yesterday, he was only average at best, especially if you compare to the last 2 games he played.

But still he did OK but he just made alot more mistake than usual, the worst one he did was a cross switch ball he did in the 2nd half when he was not under any pressure, which was cut out by a Bolton player.

Not bad for a player trying to regain fitness, let's hope he recover well for the Fulham match.

Agree with chico. Before the ANC last year. he was fantastic. But has been injured ever since. If we get him right again, its a huge bonus for us.

He's a [Poor language removed] little gem. Just wish he'd sort his hair out!

It could be worse, he could wear pigtails or something.
