Let it go...
At the end of the day. At his peak, he should have had a shot at the spanish side, at least on the bench. He didn't because he was playing with us. That's the long and short of it.
He handled the timing like a pr%$ck but he's got maybe 1 or 2 more years to get a shot at his first cap. And he's infinitely more likely to get it playing for the arse.
That's just the nature of the beast...
Good luck to the boy. He did well for us and brought in some cash at the end after signing the new deal...
