So, one of our best players last season and this season......

I don't follow the logic of some of you guys. It is all about the now with you, no ability to look long term.

I'm afraid I have to disagree with you here Dylan, as my own opinion is a little different.

For me, Neville is a good leader, but is only an average footballer. Last year, our best players were Jags, Baines, Fellaini, and Pienaar by a country mile.
Neville has always played the same way for us and probably always will.

Lets look at his attributes:

Leadership - Exellent
Flexibillity - Very good.
Passing - Pretty dire and wasteful
Tackling - Decent, but gives many free kicks away on the edge of the box.
Positional sense - Decent
Shooting - Shockingly bad
Heading - ok
Speed - Average to slow

He is well liked, but he really isn't good enough to demand a starting place every week in my opinion except for the situation that we don't really have any cover for his position.

Now Heitinga has started, people are starting to think bout moving him to right back, but is he really better than Hibbert?

I like the lad a lot, but like Big Burger stated; it might be a blessing in disguise.

Moyes doesn't have the bottle to drop him, so now he is forced to experiment with somebody else.
If Heitinga proves to be better, will Hibbert be replaced just because we need leadership on the field?

Knowing Moyes, yes.

If it was up to me, then no.
