On the pitch, this is modern Everton: their most consistent performers are getting old. Yet finances off it dictate and they cannot afford to ease out and replace.

The journo may not realise we have Garbutt and Bidwell coming through on the left and Coleman at the club already on the right.

Neville is not the one to be concerned about.

Its Distin and Cahill really and possibly Howard (2 years out)

Dont forget Saha and Osman

Saha - Vellios. Then further out Hope. ... as in the youth player.

Osman - Barkley.

etc.

Argee to an exstent but what the artical is saying is we can not buy replacments for our ageing players

You can only rely on youth so much to fill in the gaps

I don't think it's as bad as being made out. Once we'v made a 2-3 signings who are young then were not that old of team tbh.

RB - Neville Hibbert Coleman
CB - jags hietinga Distin Duffy
LB - Baines Neville

Neville and Distin are old so we need a little there but onohoua coming in would sort that, and some young cover for Baines maybe even one of our own youngsters.

CM - Fellani Rodwell Gibson Barkley Osman Cahill
WF - Guaye Drenthe Donovan macfadden

We actually have a very young collection of midfielders. Could do with signing another young winger.

CF - Saha anichebi vellios straq

Clearly problems here. We need a striker but if we again bring in someone young then great.

There's alot of talk about are ageing squad but Cahill is already replaceable with what we'v got. Onohou would replace nev/Distin and were are hopefully going to get a younger striker.
