I have to admit it took me along time to come around to phil neville ,but he is a great captain and i see him as a player david moyes sees as a leader on and off the pitch , i think he would be great manager ,maybe a stint as a reserve or asst manager in the next couple of years ,i think he is a player who will be at the this club for a long time , what i really dont want is him to leave and become player manager at bury or oldham and never given a chance ,at least if he stays at everton he will get his chance .

i was thinking the same thing, maybe he will, they say crap players are good managers !!! he a good leader thou so he might just be up to it

Was thinking this myself but if he's thinking about management he's not doing himself any favors being on twitter. I couldn't imagine a premier league manager tweeting. He's got to give that up fast and start presenting himself as management material first. For that reason, I don't think he has any intention of managing or coaching for a couple of years yet. Maybe he's right, just enjoy playing while it lasts.

Phil is a great leader and has recently spoke of his desire to keep playing for a few more years, but with our upcoming youngers pushing for first team places, it's possible he may get less game time. Although with our injury record and nevilles versatility im sure he'll be a big player for everton, this season at least.

..........bring back micheal madar.............
