To be fair, what comes from the Street End on derby day or whenever a former Kopite plays for another team, is just as disgusting - no matter how we all feel.

Maybe maybe not - but I don't recall a verse of (to give a hypothetical example)..

Steve Gerr-ard Gerr-ard.. ad infinitum - ending in "gonna die a horrible death " ... etc. etc.

To be brutally honest this kind of posting is about as low as it could possibly get, to suggest that someone - disliked (through rivalry) or simply by some form of celebrity-jealousy (e.g. "Jade - I hope you die soon" kind of thing) - has died (or is going to die). There's banter ("Fernando Torres" "Kopites are Gob....") and then there's absolute taboos..

Or if the gloves are off - how low can one actually go?

To be fair we have sung 'Die die nicky nicky die' for that noob barmby and same for rooney, but even they arnt sung with venom anymore.

Glad it's a joke, but is it bad that my first reaction to reading the title of this was "[Poor language removed], he's just back from injury and now he's going to be out again", rather than "I hope he's not badly hurt"?

no surprise in this realy just what goes a round comes around evertoians arent innocsent of any poor taste jokes/wind ups/chants are we
