So your at a petrol station, with a set amount in your pocket. Lets say for arguments sake, £20.

Your filling up with petrol, your on £19.96, £19.97, £19.98.....

You literally only have £20 in your pocket. Do you risk going over £20 to get bang on to £20 or wimp out at £19.99 or even earlier, depending how much of a wimp you are.

Its a tough call isnt it really.

My bottle tends to go around the £19.98 mark. Although I tend to play the more dangerous game of knowing im paying by card, so sticking a full tank in and then crying when it costs about £50.

If you ever go over (and I always make sure I do) you just grab a handful of shrapnel to make up the difference.

I think you're supposed to add to it when you're flush like, but I never do.
