Perspective-the ten years pre Moyes

Oh, so "only" winning twice at Anfield in the seven years before Moyes came is of no account, is it?

It's a funny kind of Evertonian whom just dismisses the fact we could win at Anfield back in those says.

Serious question.

Are you a Moyes fan or an Everton fan?

You're going to be watching out for United's results next season.

One day you and your ilk will look back on this period and righteously feel embarassed.

The way the Moyes cultists are behaving is reminiscent of the great pity party when Diana died.

You're making a fundamental mistake in not realising how Moyes' stewardship at least partially masked the massive effect of the Sky money. The income gap between the likes of United, RS etc and ourselves was nowhere near as wide as it now is. Twenty years ago Liverpool's turnover was maybe 10-15% greater than Everton's. Now it's 250% greater.

In the face of this, Moyes has indeed done an amazing job, irrespective of whether we won anything or not.

You may fancy yourself at accountancy but when it comes to football that is something else.

Because your accountancy theory goes right out the window when one looks at Wigan yesterday in light of how Martinez completely outcoached Moyes in THAT match.

Moyes could and should have done better with whatever resources he had at his disposal.

I don't know if you go the match or not, but to anyone watching the negative tactics of Moyes era Everton this much is obvious.

Thank goodness he is gone.

Now the club can breathe again.

A horrible year where we survive relegation by the skin of our teeth isn't saved by one win at Anfield. I'm honestly mystified that anyone is pining for those days.

This Khalekan fella chats some utter, utter sh*te.

He makes out other people are acting small time for wanting high league finishes and stability under Moyes and then says he'd throw it all away to go back to the 90s. Complete melt.

If you were a woman, going through a divorce with kids. You would use the kids as weapons, you seem to have a lot of hate for Moyes. Be happy he is gone, not go on like a bird on the blob.

Moyes did a great job to stabilise us but he also had glaring weaknesses. He has to change his mindset if he is to succeed at Old Trafford as the fans will not tolerate the game plans he had at Everton. I wish him all the best though.
