Nice one for posting. We were pretty forgettable.

Still at least we won a trophy though in those dour times. Not that I'm not grateful to Moyes for what he's done for the club though.

Leeds united finished fifth in Moyes' first season. 11 years in football is a long time.

Moyes has done great for us, but with improvements comes expectation, nothing wrong with that. Everyone should always be looking as to how they can improve.

Fortunately I only saw us play about 10 games between 1994-2002 working over 200 miles away - as it was too depressing watching the sh1te Smith and co served up.

94/5 - 15th 5 pts " " won cup

And that one fact uncontestable fact paints the "dour 90s" as a golden era compared to the even dourer noughties when not so much as a pot was won.

Big Joe v Moyes?

I think the former takes that particular bout, boys.

But what gets brought up more? League positions or its been 18 years since we won a trophy?

Most of the football community don't know where we finished in the league in 95, but they know we won a cup.

Big Joe had one decent season, then joined the other 9 years of turgid s**t. We've had nearly a decade of progress.

Those net spends are insane. Literally bought the title.

He certainly has done us very proud, but that doesn't make him exempt from criticism. It wasn't lack of money that got us knocked out of cups by the likes of Reading, Wigan etc, it was lack of motivation and negative tactics.

This is what we wish the next manager will be able to improve upon, while maintaining similar consistency in the league.
