Not really. A different fake news site (not the Onion) ran a story about Sarah Palin calling for war against the Czech Republic. It got picked up by a Czech newspaper which thought it was real. In fairness, it does sound like something she'd say.

Some twitter users did though, to the point where the Czech ambassador had to make a statement apparently.
