Ex Everton player Kenny Sansom although on the telly recently as a pundit he appears to be struggling with constant relapses into alcoholism, real shame as he seems like a decent guy.

after the hoo har did a lot of work for charities and underprivileged for many years, but yes a waste...would maybe have rode it all out nowadays
 
Audrey Harrison.

Great boxer in his youth, then for some reason decided he didn't want to fight anymore and became so boring that he basically wasted his boxing career
