People Singing , ...

I have just realised that I have a phobia . Actually , I've had it for TIME , but it's uny just dawned on me .
It is of people singing . Particularly those who think they are good but are not , though not exclusively .
If I see it on T.V. or in films , I turn over . I truly can't have it .
For example , if - The Great - George Formby , tried giving it ,
" With me little stick of Blackpool Rock , in front of me " , instead of applauding , I'd be wanting to web him with the ukelele .
I HAVE NEVER watched X Factor , etc , but those , " Of the Stars , .. " one's , ... Aaaagggghhhh !!! My nightmare . Swear to God .

Some Newsreader giving it , " Memories , .... " , is my idea of purgatory .
Don't get me wrong , I love music . Always have , but someone proper going for it , regardless of their ability , usually in complete absence of same , makes my toes curl . Literally .
Weird thing is , I think I'm embarrassed FOR THEM , less than myself .
Dunno , though .

So , please , feel free to mock , commiserate or just list your own weirdnesses .

If someone ever wants rid of me then they only need produce a guitar, I'm out of there like a shot before they start with 'Smells like teen spirit' or some other shiz that they have learned... usually accompanied by bad singing.

Many a night was brought to a premature end when travelling due to some blert getting their 'tar out and inflicting themselves on everyone, stopping all convo whilst some fat studenty type birds that were pished off 2 cans swayed along to the 'tune'.

Best ever was a bloke who disappeared during such an occurrence, only 5 mins later a drone to be heard from down the beach, everyone headed down there like flies to 1 of those blue lights in the chippy, and there he was stood on a ledge on a rockface with a big torch pointing at him, playing away on the bagpipes !! never faltered on a note, and took requests as well as doing all the 'tar players favourites far better than they could ever hope to do.
