Can I be the first to post: Get a proper computer.

Macs are much better and if would've done it for you if you asked it, and it wouldve held your hand at the same time.

Are you a Ghost multi?

Is it time for this again?

Ok, I have a Mac now. There, I said it. I needed it for work. Honest.

Pros-

screen quality. I deal in pictures, and it's phenomenal.
Speed- I got the top of the range 15 inch, and it's bloody quick.
Look- it's hot.

Cons- programs, programs, programs. No FMRTE for footy manager say it all.

no HD output
still needs a f*cking mini dvi converter,
still no SD card reader
can't replace your own battery
Safari ( say no more )

Can't believe you all bit, I was only having a laugh.

All computers are relatively wonderful/[Poor language removed] in equal measures and what you decide to use is often based on subjective and idiosyncratic criteria.

Every forum and comment section though...yeah but a mac can't do x, a PC gets viruses, yeah but macs are expensive, PC have too many 3rd party components etc ad nauseum.

Arguing about it is pointless. But then forums....

Firefox works a dream on my Mac.

Well, that makes my point even more valid.

Don't get me wrong, i own a macbook pro, but only for coding Xcode, and some sandbox stuff, its only a hobby, i use Windows 7, and Server 2008 everyday. Exchange, Sharepoint.. none of Apple's enterprise stuff is even close to this. They make fantastically attractive hardware though!
