I agree they don't happen very often, as I stated in this thread it's hard to get all 4 parties in agreement. papers used to always use them and they never happened as reported, a bit like the example you provided.

At least we would have had a striker and not as much money to waste on some of the dross we bought.

They never seem to happen (though i do loads of these on Fifa career mode) but it seems a good opportunity to get rid of the deadwood and bring down transfer fees.
Two players i thought were if we approach Watford for Richarlson we could offer Bolasie or Miralles as a makeweight.
Along the same lines we need a centre half and Mawson has looked excellent in a struggling Swansea side, im sure both Swansea and Williams would be willing to be re-united for next season.

Any other suggestions that could realistically happen?

They rarely happen because most of the time it would involve one team offering a load of [Poor language removed], for a teams best player.

Ashley Cole to Chelsea for money plus Gallas was a pretty high profile one. It was a great deal by Chelsea.

Considering they never happen in the Prem, no haha.

Happened last season with Sanchez Arsenal to United and ? going to Arsenal. It used to happen more, but the start of the loan system put the blocks on it quite a lot.

If I were the club, I would email Klassen & say don't bother coming back next season !!
