Me and my lad travel for home games and been parking at SP. Now it's a 2.5-3 hour drive each way and this is often made worse by the time is takes just to get back put of the car park and onto the main roads.

I'm not fussed about paying the parking, but would like to find somewhere that would allow us to get back on the road and home a bit quicker after the game.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

For the Spurs game, my friend picked me up and drove to the game, parking up in the dreadful ghetto around Anfield. Truly awful, but no bother and no car parking cost to worry about.

I have a 5 year old and park at tesco on county road £5, 5 minutes walk to the ground & decent to get out.
I'm normally in Stoke (shhhh) for around 18.10...

Go to the Mons/Breeze Hill and park in the side streets around Southport Road side. It is about 10-15 mins from the ground. Drive down Southport road and onto Dunnings Bridge Road and pick up the M57. It is a round about way to get to the M62 but a lot quicker.
