.....bit of a chippy [Poor language removed] isn't he?

Alan Pardew: "It's obvious from the start of the season that Everton have picked up where they left off last year.

"They beat us comfortably at the back end of last year. It's a tough game for us, and I think it's going to be for everybody at Goodison, as Manchester United found out. We have got a lot to do there.

"They have got considerable assets in terms of defending and attacking. They have got some nice options and it makes it very difficult to unravel that and get yourselves a victory. But that's what we will attempt to do."

"David Moyes has had his fair quota of money - I know he moans about it, but I think he's had his share. But he spends it well and they have got great players.

"David Moyes is a fantastic manager, and he is proving that. Stability is the key there and that's why they do so well as a club.

"They have a great manager and they keep faith in him."

I thinks he sees Moyes as his direct competition when it comes to the rating of managers. Let's face it - if Pardew was under pressure then Moyes would be one of the first names touted to replace him. While he praises him, there's a little dig in there also!

5.6m is a fair share?

Christ, it might be worth the lifetime ban to run to the dugout and web that weapon in the face.

Moyes has a net spend of £9m in the last 10 and a half years.

Pardew has a net spend of £14m in the last 2 years. This includes the £35 MILLION he received for Carroll.

Jog on Pardew you utter clown.

Hahaha, thought the same. What a complete helmet.

He just said money, not net spend.

Pardew's spending hasn't been net spend, it's been from sales (mainly Carroll's -- I wish someone would buy one of our gash players for £35m!)

Moyes has had a lot of money over the years. The issue is that a.) it's only ever from selling players and b.) It's only really a lot because 10 years worth will always look like a lot; Pardew's been in charge for a fraction of the time.

Pardew is lucky ****er to have Carr at the club, scouting for him. Take that away, and you would have none of the current top players.

Lucky man
