Yes we were cheated. Yes Suarez is a cheat. Atkinson is part of a oligarchy of new football taking money undoubtedly from vested interests. Those interests are dictating the game and FIFA, the FA and TV need the so called 'big' teams to win. There is no marketing or TV if Wolves, Sunderland, Norwich and Blackburn are in the top 4.

That said...we need to look at our overall performances, defensive displays and constant talking down of the team by Moyes and Kenwright. The team ISNT as bad as Moyes makes out. Its in Moyes interest to play down expectations, as it is in Kenwrights.
Of course the only solution wont happen: the existing Everton board to go and a rich investor.I keep thinking there must be something to look forward to...but I cant see anything except us going downhill.:(

We could've had Real Madrid's squad and still lost that game. The ref was on the red ****e pay roll doesn't matter how well we performed.

true. the business men who run the modern game are not bothered about football.like you say- money talks and theres no money to be made unless the high profile teams come out on top but i would rather lose by default than win by default any day of the week. they can stick their hollow victories

Sorry, but that game would of been totally different had Jack Rodwell not gotten a ghost red card. You could see we were getting well on top of them.

Sorry but a f***in stupid thing to say. Thought we cud have really had them today if we had been given a fair crack of the whip. Every year is the same with referees. Suarez should take the 3 game ban for f***in diving again

Not today lad..........

Yeah I've been criticising our performances but now is not the time.

We got to see so little of this game before the contest was ended unfairly. Up until that point it was fairly even though.

Has anyone come across a Liverpool fan who thinks that it was a fair contest? Hand on heart, all the reds I have spoke to agree that the ref ruined a game of football. Now for the good news blues, Moyes really will have this team performing, he always does when we get robbed like that... we were not great they were not great before the sending off. Once he sent Rodwell off it was backs against the wall and with the exception of one hibbert challenge( a genuine red card) he gave pretty much everything Liverpools way. It is hard to beat a team when it is 10 against 11 but **** me when it is 10 against 12 you really do have no chance whatso ever...papering over the cracks? Nothing new lad, Moyes has been doing that since he took over!

Correct mate.
Let's look at the positives. Drenthe was boss when he came on. Vellios looks ready to start a game and actually wins headers and flicks 'em all, even sometimes the Jageilka hit and hoofs and Vic's still injured.

I actually thought our probelm 2nd half was that we were too open with 10 men - meaning there was always a chance we would get caught out.

There could certainly be no criticism today of being negative and defensive - even with only 10 men.

As for the Moyes talking down the team - its called playing down expectations and taking pressure of the team - against big teams he tells people we shouldnt have a chance meaning if we lose it was expected - if we get somethng more we did well.

I assure you that what he tells the players and what he tells the media are 2 different things - he knows on the pitch ist 11 against 11 and our 11 can be a match for anybody (other than Martin Atkinson obviously!)

Lad have a word,For 20mins we were in the game and it could have gone either way,as soon as Rodwell seen red it was game over

How can you look at the "overall" performance of the team when the sending off runied any game planm Moyes had

Let's see how we react to today. As someone else said, we usually go on mad streaks once something like this happens.
