Why are we treated to different shades of concrete grey on the floor and the cladding on the outside with different shades over where windows used to be? Paint it all blue white and yellow.

Or is that too much?

I know what you mean. The old lady is still old, no matter what. I just look at some South American stadiums with their terraces painted their team colours. Just making the best of what you can I suppose.
 


This would be absolutely preposterous, the manpower needed to paint the whole stadium is very implausible. How would we find a date where the stadium is not in use, plus you need to wait for the paint to dry. The money as well, at least 15,850 gallons needed, how much would that cost? The maintenance as well would be expensive. The money would be better used in the transfer kitty, not making the stadium pretty. Also, Goodison is renowned for being an 'old' ground. The different shades of blue give it character. Or do you want it to be called the Chang Arena?

I know for one I will protest if this idea goes ahead.
