Page Loading Problems

I've had this problem for a while now and it is no better since the update.

After readings posts/threads, when i try to go back to new posts, or home (or any other page come to that) I often lose the link. Waiting for page comes up then goes off, and the page never appears. The only way I can get it going again is to close the browser, go back into GOT - sometimes I am still logged in, but usually I have to log in again.

On my netbook I have been using IE but for the last half hour I have been using Google Chrome and it has not happened so far. Is it browser issue?

Anyone got similar problems?

i've had that the prob of having to keep logging in since going on firefox, on IE i never had to log in.

has it been changed so that people are logged out if inactive ?

Works perfectly fine for me and I'm on IE

You can set it to remember settings when you login on Firefox. I use Firefox on another PC but its a while since i've used it so don't know if problems happens in FF or just an IE problem.

it remembers my login details, it's just i have to keep doing that whereas i never ever got logged out, only logged in a couple of times since joining up, it just did it automatically. now, if i leave the laptop for 5 mins or so then i have to login again.

I'm with you LCAB but I do keep getting failed connections between threads, lost a posting earlier and the site doesn't remember me on booking in, I'm on internet explorer

Alright mate, next time you have that problem - throw a fist full of saw dust as the screen and turn your PC off.

When you reboot it will be all be sorted.
