Over-egging it!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone else think we are guilty of over-egging it occasionally? I believe Jelavic is far better playing off a front man as was shown for his goal v Spurs on Sunday. It would release Fellaini more and give us better options. I would love to see us experiment with 3-5-3. My starting XI would be:-

Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Baines, Mirallas, Osman, Fellaini, Hitzlsperger, Pienaar, Jelavic, Vellios.
I know the defence would be under pressure, but not many teams would get through that midfield.

You'd be nullifying Baines' attacking threat by asking to play in a three-man defence.

The thought of that back 3 scares me quite a lot, Jagielka has improved this season but needs a proper centre back partner, Baines best attribute is getting forward, which he would be stripped of in that formation, and Hibbert, well, he is just Hibbert.

That formation surely relies upon our wingers helping out in defence, and I wouldn't have much faith in Mirallas or Pienaar doing that, complete non starter for me.

who let mancini on this forum. no offence mate, but we would be crushed with that team, to play 3 at the back it has to be 3 CB's as well, we could play with Coleman and Baines as wing backs but i wouldn't warm to that idea
