PMSL that they took their instruments 2500 miles only to be told no one wants to hear them play.

After all the fuss they will no doubt be out in meltish force against Sweden, but there is always hope...

Silence really is golden.

i said it in the Eng v Fra thread that it sounded so much better without the band, the fans sang the songs anyway, im fed up of hearing it during the match.

That's not funny at all though, they've spent 1000's of pounds on a trip of a lifetime with guarantees they'd be able to do what they set out to achieve. How you can laugh at their misfortune is disgusting to be honest, it's just because they're English.

I'm actually sick of this bollocks to be honest.

they could still go in and watch, they just couldnt play the only 2 songs they play all the time, i feel sorry for the fans who have to sit near to them. dreadful noise and repeated every 5 mins.

Not the music I'm on about, it's the fact they were allowed to play and then not allowed, and the constant England digs. This wouldn't be posted if they were Swedish fans.

Was it Sheffield Wednesday who used to have a band? I think Hull did for a time too. How did they get their call ups to the England squad?

The tournament directors said no horns.. vuvuzalas ..drums.

Pukka Pies are kicking up a fuss cos they have sponsored them. im sure they will get some advertisement from the protest and news stories.

Personal i think after 300 consecutive games they should learn some new songs, its boring and repetitive and was nice to watch the game without the dreadful crappy tunes.

England supporters need to take the Barmy Army along for a tournament to sort them out though. When they toured here a few years ago they were fantastic, no issues whatsoever with behaviour, and pretty funny too.

To be fair i dunno much about the Barmy Army, i think its a cricket thing or maybe Rugby, Ive heard they have fun on the road tho.

Cricket, they organise tours and go together as a mass group. Got a good friendly sense of humour about them.

PMSL. They are a racket that pisses off everyone. They were still allowed into the ground to watch the match and were allowed to pick up their trumpets after the game.

As far as I'm aware they get a free ride to the tournaments so the haven't spent 'thousands' as you put it.

It's not the story, it's the fact that YOU have once again posted anti England crap, it's pathetic, and you wouldn't post it if it was any other team.

I'd post it if any group of supporters had their trumpets confiscated and it made national news. How is it anti England? I went to the City of Manchester Stadium in 2004 to watch England v Iceland in their final warm up match before Euro 2004, and had the misfortune to be just a few rows from these clowns.

Irritating was not the word.
