Absolutely gutted. Typical really. 13 days ago i had a really bad accident (i was in the papers!). got out of hospital on Sunday afternoon but i have been too tired/medicated/unwell to have a proper look through the news. i have been on a couple of times but i was wondering if people could fill me in about the news in the past two weeks.

The irony is i was supposed to be at the Wigan game and if i had gone i wouldn't have been hurt at all. I'm really disappointed as my dad and brother left for London this morning without me and i wont be able to attend the rest of the home games (i have a season ticket).

for some random reason we decided to go roof jumping. i jumped down about a meter onto a lower part of the roof. clever me crashed 15ft straight through a skylight cut through the artery, two of the three nerves in my left arm and the muscle. had emergency surgery for 6 hours in which they cut a vain from my ankle, turned it upside down and stitched into my artery. at the moment i have no sensation i the arm and need further surgery in 6 months or so to regain my grip.

I thought it was hilarious in the paper "free runner", "parkour" i was dancing around with a handbag and cigarette . sorry i cant type any faster!

Hope you are getting better mate (y)

Here on the forum, Tim Howard took a bit of blame for the Villa result.
We seem 50/50 divided on the sign Jo or not issue. He's our marmite!
Ossie getting credit since going more central midfield after getting a season of pelters.
Hibbert, Phil, Baines, Jags getting positive feedback for being most improved player this season.

Nobody seems to like the RS :lol::lol:

cheers!

i think Howard takes every goal as a personal insult

reckon Jo issue would be best resolved with season long loan, option to buy. gives yak and victor more time to mend if we have another striker they're not getting rushed back and we don't spend money on a player we might not need after a few more months.

Baines is my most improved. (y)

You've got a strange hobby I must say. Hope you make a quick and full recovery. Feel for you having to miss the semi at Wembley. Get well soon mate.(y)

Bloody hell !! Scottishtoffee, you're blummin' lucky you never popped your clogs there, fella'.

All the very best on a speedy recovery.

I should just say that this thread TERRIFIED ME - thinking one of our players was injured!

Anyways, unlucky on having to miss the Semi...

Sorry i meant i would miss the games! (lucky we hadn't renewed yet) anyone want to go the City, West Ham, Tottenham games?

how typical would it be if Cahill or Jags had a freak accident though?

glad we finally got Riquelme Chico, wont budge Felli but good cover.

Hey Dutch,

My 4 year old just jumped on the bed with me while I was reading this thread.

He saw your avatar and said, "Ha ha, X for Liverpool."

Not quite Nelson Muntz-esqe but funny nonetheless.
