Remember when dyche got sacked in his final season the burnley team started to win games and basically missed out on averting relegation by one Cornett sitter , who was the caretaker manager at that time? lol note: tongue in cheek post
True, but I think it was a miracle to keep a team like Burnley up for several seasons as Eddie Howe did with Bournemouth both stayed 10 respectively 8 years in their club, sending down teams with way more money. In retrospect, Burnley and Bournemouth would have needed to look for a "new impulse" earlier, which is probably due to a long time under one manager leading to stagnation as Howe failed to get a stable defence and Dyche to improve the attacking side of Burnley in their time.

The replacement manager was Mike Jackson, U23 manager of Burnley, who managed to get sacked after 3 months in his only 2 clubs averaging 19% of wins. He even won manager of the month, but the new manager effect then fell flat, as they lost 3 of their last 4.

What an opportunity to turn things around though? An historic, well supported team in an amazing new stadium. With a bit of luck and half decent purchases and with a slowly improving financial position, we’ve got to be up there for any aspiring manager.

Where's the likes of christian gross, martin jol, steve kean, john carver, bob bradley, remi garde, les reed, jan siewert, steve wigley, and frank de boer? Have none of the Everton players of yesteryear pursued the coaching and managerial badges required for this circus? Why not get van der meyde in with a bus load of brass to chase the players through drills? bilic? why not - he's a doorknob headed shyster that's taken us for a ride previous. Get lampard back in, good for a few laughs at least.

Another manager. Like sticking a body kit on your car when you've flogged the wheels.
Lee carsley, done well with England U21, won a trophy with them, good with kids (obvs) and could chin a few of our players to get them to sort themselves out.
