Can i just make something clear to people.

When people complain about the performance and how we played despite picking up 3 points its because of one simple thing.

Good performances breed good results. You are more likely to pick up more wins playing well than you are playing bad.

So when we as fans see things happening during games which we think is poor play (hoofball, everyone up at corners, no movement etc) and therefor hampering are chances of picking up 3 points.

Winning games by being the better team and playing well should always be the aim. Winning games but playing badly should be accepted but not encouraged.

Its like after the Fulham game, some people were like "3 points is all that matters" and others were discussing what happened during the match and what could of been done better.

Because we might then of picked up more than 0 points from our next 2 games if we were actually playing better and doing things different.

Read my post at the top of the page mate.

Its not better football as in more attactive enjoyable to watch football.

Its better football as in more effective making use of what we have well football. Its sensible passing, its doing things right to give ourselves the best chance of victory possible.

Playing well = more likely to score and not concede = more likely to pick up 3 points on a regular basis.

When someone is right - they're right.
This is best put about our football at the moment and should be stickied or something.

Lumping the ball up front is indicative of a team with no confidence. if you have had bad results your confidence drops - fact. one win does not a season cnage BUT a couple of wins, the confidence raises, the play gets better. i for one am glad we won now we need to continue this and THEN start to play around a bit.

I honestly think our current footballing plight could be solved by playing a more intelligent player in Tim Cahill's position.

Hate to be pragmatic because I really like Timmie but he is on the wane this year. You hit the nail on the head with your comment I see one or two players just not in the game or ball watching as we welly it over their heads.
