like many on here im pissed off with the [Poor language removed] EFC are trying to pass off as football / tactics to win a game ....now i know we hav players out injured and some of them are good ones but im sick of hearing the "injury list" excuse for everything we do these days

no matter who we play at the moment we seem to be second best so injury excuses for another thread pls

last nights second half display left me shellshocked in more reasons than 1...i was completely baffled to what our set up was and what we were trying to do with the ball ...here how i saw it

felli seemed to be pushed up front more as was our focal point
the above move seemed to push the yak out left which in turn sent billy to a forward / rhs role ????????? what the **** was this all about ?????? in my head seriuos answers need to be given

this just created promblem after problem in that felli didnt win the mojority of headers cleanly and the second ball when it broke was to a number of benfica players ....the 1st half was bad but i thought all we needed was a bit of confidence to step it up as we were very nervous on the ball but the second was PATHETHIC

THE PLAY WAS CRAP ...THE TACTICS WERE CRAP ...AND THE MAJORITY OF PLAYERS ATTITUDE WAS CRAP

at this moment we look like a team who has just came up into the prem for the first time and are playing at this level for the first time its atrocious

the thing that is niggling away at me is a few times the camera went onto DM and his expression was a giveaway ...he doesnt know how to go about changing the cureent situation....im not here calling for his head but its a major worry when the respondsability to pick the players thinking / mood/ headset ( call it whatever you want) lies wit the coaches

it was clear that is a lack of belief in the squad currently right from ther 1st whistle and players are not playing to their potential

and someone has to stnd up and be counted

That's because without Arteta and Pienaar we have no creativity, none. Our play becomes one dimensional and we have to soak up loads of pressure. There's not a lot Moyes can do about that now. He should have signed a creative player in the summer with the Lescott money but he didn't so now we're left with waht we've got.

as true as this sounds it doesnt wash with me ...

creativity at this level is thin in the ground and when you have it in your team it opens up windows of possibilities but the basics will always stay the same and presently we are struggling to do the basics.......

its was appaling i thought at how fast our self belief disappeared as the game went on and for me the buck then gets passsed onto the coaches and they try find a way to change things but last night as already stated their faces gave the impression they were void of ideas

There was in reality only one decent players signed in the summer -- Bily. For me this is the real issue our dealings in the summer we do not seem to be adequately addressing our needs on the pitch and end up with desperation signings. I think 15 mill was wasted in 2008 this year has just been a load of pooh. If we had won last night what is the bet BK would have out there talking to the press!
