Stick Niasse in a team who actually get the ball into the box, and he would score for fun.

A sad indictment on our team that he’s still so important to us. We’d be foolish to let him go this season, could take Tosun a while to settle.

Fair play to him though, limited footballer but works hard, hassles defenders and a good finisher. Deserves all the praise he gets and more.

Agree with the sentiment but I think we need to knock this limited footballer thing on the head now.

Like any footballer he has strengths and weaknesses. He takes up good positions and he can finish really well.

He makes a difference to us because he offers something that hardly any other player in our squad does, and that is simply movement. he is always making himself available for a pass.

He is a useful player regardless of how people decide to judge him.

If we'd sold him in the summer like Koeman was trying to do, we'd genuinely be about 18th. He'd be one of about 3 players in this side that I'd applaud if they ever came back with a different team.

Needs to be on the pitch more. Wasted a lot of time with DCL on the pitch this season. This guy should at the very least be coming on as sub every week.

Get him inside the 6 yard box and he’ll probably score. He’s not good at anything else but that’s all he needs, play him with Tosun up top and sacrifice a midfielder, preferably Schneiderlin the cowardly prick.

Now that Walcott is here, and has already shown that he is a cut above in awareness and setting up chances, its essential that Oumar gets more game time,simply because he is always alert and looking to move into space....exactly what Walcott will want. Niasse is one of those players who will always score goals wherever he is playing....and worth his weight in gold because of that fact alone.
