Because he's not a top level player mate I think is the answer. His instinct should have got him there.

Having said that he's still better than I thought he'd be. Just maybe a level or 2 below where he's playing.

(Lump on him to score now obviously)

I'm not watching it as I'm in work but the thing you mention about his instinct - u actually felt in the minutes he played for us he would try and hide away from receiving the ball out of fear of looking crap with it. He must have gone down about 7 times when we played Bournemouth at home and about 3 times against utd away where I almost expected him to feign injury.
