2018/19 Oumar Niasse

He is suited to coming off the bench and trying to grab a goal - I have no problem with him staying but we could do with getting shot of Tosun and Calvert Lewin and replacing them with a top drawer no1 centre forward.

I do hope mind that Niasse has learnt his lesson over his unacceptable behaviour towards Davies - that sort of shenanigans is simply not on and doesnt do any good for squad morale.
Tosun our only clinical striker?

Just watch that at 5 minutes then apologise to us:

Dont see your point mate? Im hoping its all water under the bridge and I'm confident the club have dealt with things behind closed doors I just hope he's learnt from it and the squadare united. Just a shame we cant punt the bad apples of Williams and Mirallas.

No but you're happy to throw around a lie told by them to get a reaction like you did in the previous Oumar thread mr previously banned poster.

Says more about yourself than anything

@Boss_Rarkley I think you'll find my previous account isnt banned I just didnt like my username anymore for obvious reasons but hey ho fake news.

And accusing someone of posting something to get a reaction is rich comimg from you lad lol

I think people can sometimes be blinded by the 'big' names. Players like Lukaku, who still has much potential, can be polarising at best and detrimental at worst. When you put all your hopes on one 'big' player, then you might have lost sight of the fact that this is a team game.

I doubt Our Prince will get to even Lukaku's pre-potential, but positivity is infectious. Self centred, 'looking for a bigger club' is not. Everyone loves an under dog, and the old "plucky" Everton (which I hated), stickin' it to da man kinda thing, is how many probably see Niasse.

Tosun our only clinical striker?

But my point is mate thats not a very high bar to set is it?

If we are playing 1 up top you realistically want 1x top drawer centre forward and 1x good super sub who can come off the bench and make an impact.

Niasse for me is a good super sub and his statistics prove that but Tosun hasnt shown enough (granted under Alladyce he was starved for service). I just think if we are to go anywhere we need a 20 goal a season forward who either has the raw pace of a Vardy in a fluid attacking set up or the hold up play of a Giroud type forward - from what I've seen Tosun has neither and doesn't have the power of a Lukaku or the skill of a Salah to make up for his weaknesses. He'll get his chance this season no doubt but I have my reservations over him

I hate this thread and anyone who’s slightly positive about this.

You know what I think there’s more happy people here about him staying than there would have been if Lukaku had signed a new contract.

Probably sums up our fanbase
Seems like you should just stay out of it then. For your own sake since he obviously annoys you.
I don't think anyone in here sees him as the next Lukaku, far from it.
More that some see him as a guy who against all odds scores now and then. And considering the history he has with us combined with a less than perfect footballing technique in all areas ,he is to me a weird combination of all sorts of stuff that makes football great and horribly frustrating.
Histories of scouting by video cassettes, wrist injuries , losing his locker , domestic issues , continuous efforts to stay level headed and keep working....

Of course I would prefer Lukaku the footballer any day of the week. Everybody in here would .
As for all the other stuff...Oumar has it all,and he even scores now and then.
Yeah, I like that sort of stuff.

And stop your patronising,it's uncalled for.
