Imagine the gob on Brummie *superstar* Grealish when he heard that CR7 is on his way.

I still cant understand that purchase. £25M top whack I'd have valued him at, and that would have been generous.

Id have prioritised keeping any of Sane, B. Silva, Mahrez, Sterling, all ahead of Grealish. Decent player but hugely overhyped by a lot of people.

HUGHES AGREES PALACE DEAL

Crystal Palace
have agreed a deal to sign Will Hughes from Watford.

It will be worth £10m including add-ons, with an initial £6m. A medical will take place tomorrow.

Crystal Palace will now target a striker, likely to be a Deadline Day signing.

He was a big fish in a small bowl.

Villa must have been in dreamland when they saw the media inflate the importance of that lad.

£100M for him will be seen as one of the daftest deals ever in football. City should have just saved that and sorted Juventus out with a fee.

Ronaldo is the perfect move for City. He sorts their striker position out for another season until they can get Haaland. Plus even at 36 Ronaldo is a machine.

He's a great player, but wouldn't they then have one too many who likes to carry the ball from deep?

Ronaldo would offer them a slotter...even now he'll get 20 in a season and adds to their aerial threat.
And becomes a distraction from another City player..

Patrici has been there 5 minutes and is managing to possibly get rid of some of their rubbish. We cant give ours away for free
